As a lifelong resident of Westfort, this community is where my heart is. There is so much potential for our ward and I am confident we can succeed by electing an experienced, engaged and committed city councillor. As a relationship builder I pledge to be accessible to you and look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas.

I am the Executive Director for the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association (NOMA). In this role, I work with both the provincial and federal government to discuss issues that municipal governments deal with. I know firsthand the challenges we face with infrastructure funding, the need to address our social issues and improving the economy of Thunder Bay.

Over the past few months, I have listened to your concerns and I too share those same worries. People want a government that is accountable and transparent. A government that will address community safety, find solutions that will keep people from leaving and create an environment that attracts investors to Thunder Bay.

It gives me great pride to volunteer in our community. I am a Board of Governor for Confederation College as well as Vice President of Northwood Hockey League. I’m also the past president of Leadership Thunder Bay and have served on parent council.

I’m married to Rick, a shop teacher at Westgate and together we are raising our sons Carter and Cale on Ernestine Ave.

I promise to bring a fresh perspective to the table and give Westfort a strong voice on City Council.
