Vote

If you are eligible to vote and your name is on the Voter’s List, you should get a Voter Notification Card in the mail before the day of the election, which will include your voting location. Make sure to check that your information is correct and up to date.

When can I vote?

The Election Day is October 18, 2021. You can vote from October 4-18.

Can I vote in this election?

You may vote in the election if you live in the municipality or are the owner or tenant of land or your spouse is a property owner or tenant here. You must be a Canadian citizen and 18 years old or older on election day.

What do I need to vote?

You must provide proof of your identity and where you live. Even if you have your Voter Notification Card, you must still provide identification.

Please bring either:

  • A government-issued photo identification that has your name and address; or
  • Two pieces of identification (one that includes your name and the other should have your name and address).
